Job summary

Base is building a next-generation battery production operation in Austin, Texas. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and keep machines running at pace in a fast-growing factory environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance, mechanical, or electrical work (or technical training/apprenticeship).
• Basic understanding of conveyors, motors, actuators, and AC/DC circuits.
• Comfort using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to learn robotics, PLCs, and automation.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.
• Support corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
