Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment in our Atlanta plant. You will inspect, lubricate, and replace worn parts and use diagnostic tools to ensure peak performance while minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, reporting trends, complying with safety guidelines, and assisting with spare parts inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastics.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics; good problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment such as injection molding machines and auxiliaries.
• Inspect, lubricate, and replace worn components to minimize downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools to detect wear, malfunctions, or efficiency issues.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety training.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory; perform other duties as assigned.
