Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northeast in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Branch Maintenance technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on steel fabrication equipment. You will support the fabrication division, assist in safety device design, and advise on machine purchases.

You must have at least two years of experience in hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical maintenance, and be able to read schematics; PLC knowledge and electrical safety expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience performing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, systems and processes to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment; generate parts lists and labor estimates.
• Train shop teammates on new equipment and modifications; assist in machine guarding and safety device installation.
• Support branch manager with machine purchasing and installation.
