Job summary

CRH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment in our manufacturing facility in the United States. You will help keep machines running reliably and support plant operations.

You will install, adjust, and repair equipment and electrical components, troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical systems and PLCs, perform welding as needed, and use a variety of hand and power tools. Safety and quality come first in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing maintenance.
• Experience in plant machine maintenance; hydraulics, electrical, PLC troubleshooting and welding.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair production equipment and special purpose machines.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned.
• Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs and obtain approvals for repair as needed.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
