Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Buffalo, NY to repair and maintain complex machinery including conveyors, packers, and production lines. This role requires the flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet production needs.

You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, install parts, support startup, and help drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2-year technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine facility maintenance as assigned.
• Performs preventative maintenance regularly.
• PLC troubleshooting.
• Repairs/replaces defective parts and adjusts devices.
• Operates lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools.
• Assists startup to ensure equipment operates correctly.
• Keeps shop and parts/tools storage areas clean and organized.
• Ensures food safety, authenticity, legality and quality.
• Reports risks or unsafe conditions to a manager.
• All other duties as assigned.
