Job summary

Morgan Hunter in the Kansas City area is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support leading manufacturing, distribution, and industrial employers. If you have hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay is $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and assist with safety

Qualifications

Technical degree, trade school, military training, or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in manufacturing, production, or distribution.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS, VFDs, motors, conveyors, and power transmission systems.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes.
Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
Follow safety procedures and respond to breakdowns as needed.
