Job summary

Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on packaging and processing equipment, conveyors, blowers, burners, and related plant systems. This full-time, hourly role requires initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The position includes preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, machining and welding as needed, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Mech and electrical skills in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Voc/technical certs, apprenticeship, or military training completed.
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable.
• Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving abilities.
• Forklift driving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and overhaul drives, motors, conveyors, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and test production machinery; perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair motor control centers and electromechanical drives; use meters.
• Operate shop tasks: welding, fabrication, and machining as needed.
• Maintain logs, establish work orders, and requisition parts.
• Support SOPs and safety analyses; document procedures.
