Job summary

Rust‑Oleum Corporation seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and operate filling and packaging equipment, performing routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years industrial experience, and the ability to lift 75 pounds, read SOPs, and enter data. We offer a 6:00 PM–6:15 AM shift, a 3–6–3–2 rotation, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), and pension.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of industrial experience.
• Experience with filling and packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluids; replace filters as needed.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, piping, machinery and equipment.
• Record maintenance type and cost of work; dismantle devices to access parts.
