Description

Burlington is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with Multicraft electrical experience to join its manufacturing facility in Raeford, NC. The role involves electrical and mechanical servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Technical Fabric/Yarn production machinery, equipment, the physical plant, utilities, and grounds.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain and modernize electrical and mechanical components to ensure continuous operation, using tools such as hand tools, multimeters, wire strippers, forklifts, scissor lifts, drills, and hydraulic presses.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to keep machinery and equipment in optimal condition.
  • Adhere to a consistent work schedule to keep all company property safe and in good working order.
  • Inspect ongoing and completed jobs to ensure workmanship and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain the facility's machinery and building infrastructure.
  • Manage inventories of maintenance materials, supplies, and repair parts, reviewing stock levels periodically.
  • Recommend, plan, and execute equipment upgrades to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Design layouts and modify electrical and mechanical equipment within the plant.
Qualifications and Skills
  • An Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Technologies, or Electrical Systems Engineering is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of electrical, mechanical, or multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, or equivalent education. Experience and education must be verifiable.

Shift availability:
