Job summary

MatWorks in Dalton, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair facilities and equipment across branch locations. You will perform preventative maintenance, read manuals and work orders, and use a CMMS to document activities.

Requirements include a technical associate degree or equivalent, 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (5+ preferred), electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 2 years industrial maintenance experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Travel to other branch locations on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment at multiple sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Use CMMS to track maintenance activities.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S/Lean principles.
• Identify electrical problems with testing devices and equipment.
