Appvion, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Millwright & Pipefitter) to maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly and quality standards are met.

You will work with engineers and operations teams, apply preventative maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 4-year apprenticeship (Millwright or Pipefitter) with journeyman's card required.
• Dual trade journeyman’s card preferred.
• Certified Millwright or Pipefitter with 5 years of experience.
• Willingness to continue education to become dual-trade journeyman performing both Millwright and Pipefitting duties.

Industrial Maintenance Technician (Millwright & Pipefitter) - Appvion

• Keep production running and ensure everyday products like shipping labels, packaging, event tickets, and pharmacy printouts meet top quality standards
• Maintain, repair, and optimize industrial machinery to drive operational excellence
• Work with skilled teams in a supportive environment that values mentorship, safety, and continuous learning

• Structured schedule with first 6 months on 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, then rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) for work-life balance and long stretches of time off

Your Impact

As a Multi-Craft Journeyman, you ensure high-quality products leave our facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing industrial machinery. Your work keeps production efficient, safe, and reliable, directly affecting items people use every day. You collaborate with engineers, operations teams, and external partners to optimize mechanical systems, reduce downtime, and deliver consistent, dependable products.
