Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in Middletown, OH is seeking Hourly Maintenance Employees to perform a range of mechanical and electrical maintenance across the plant.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of repair/troubleshooting, and a maintenance certification or completed apprentice program. The starting hourly rate is $36.12 with potential extra pay through Sunday premium, shift differential, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of Maintenance Assessment test.
• Be 18 or older and have the legal right to work in the U.S.
• A minimum of three years of professional repair and troubleshooting experience with a certification from an accredited school/program – OR – Completed formal apprentice program.
• Mechanical/Troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical – 120v minimum; prefer up to 480v; AC and/or DC experience.
• Hydraulic – valving, piping, pumps, motors; controls system experience a plus.
• Welding – Arc/Stick; Prefer mig, tig, 3G, 4G, & 6G experience.
• Starting hourly rate of $36.12 per hour with a potential for additional earnings including Sunday premium pay, shift differential, and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance functions (mechanical and electrical) necessary to maintain all operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment including mobile equipment and overhead cranes as required.
• Operate equipment in conjunction with repairs and assist in operation functions as necessary to maintain the efficiency and continuity of operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
