Job summary

Reliance, Inc. seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery and facility systems. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise to maximize uptime and ensure safe plant operations.

The position involves interpreting schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with production teams. A technical background and hands-on experience with motors, drives, and PLCs are essential.

Qualifications

Requires a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Proficient in preventive and predictive maintenance practices; able to maintain records.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, drives, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and production equipment.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on AC/DC circuits, control panels, relays, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage; participate in upgrades and continuous improvement.
