Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in the Sioux Falls area to support a variety of manufacturing and industrial facilities. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a proactive mindset, and a focus on safety and equipment reliability.

Starting ASAP with weekly pay and a pay range of $25–$35 per hour based on experience and certifications. Typical hours are 6am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for contract-to-hire conversion.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot PLCs is a plus.
• Welding and fabrication experience a bonus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
