Job summary

GPAC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing operation onsite in Irving, TX. This hands-on role maintains industrial equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility machinery through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues, perform routine inspections, replace worn components, and document repairs while upholding safety standards and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, industrial mechanical systems, welding, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Able to read equipment manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Committed to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair and maintain a variety of industrial processing equipment and mobile equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.
• Replace bearings, belts, chains, hoses, cylinders, motors, and other mechanical components.
• Complete minor welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Assist with hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed repairs.
• Keep shop tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
