Industrial Maintenance Technician

Hourly Rate - $36.04 - $41.19

Sign-On - $5,000

Location - Greensburg, Indiana

Relocation Assistance - 50 miles or more from plant

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Consistently maintaining all department assets within their operating context to ensure daily QCDMS target achievement, taking a proactive viewpoint, demonstrating continuous learning to self-evolve, display strong ownership and accountability for all tasks, and completing/supporting any other tasks as directed by Team Coordinator, Team Lead, and/or Unit Lead.

Supporting the department in achieving daily production targetsPerforming daily equipment inspections/checks for abnormal situationsDocumenting daily equipment related activitiesSuggesting and implementing approved ideas that reduce potential downtimePerforming preventative maintenance and continuous improvement of Equipment, Tools and Processes as required in order to guarantee Safety, Quality, and Delivery TargetsPerforming equipment modifications as required to support Business Plan initiative, New Model requirements or other re-tooling requirements.

Daily Tasks:

Equipment inspections/checksDaily reporting and tracking of activitiesPreventative MaintenanceContinuous Improvement activitiesProvide immediate response to production floor needs and requirements

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years maintenance experience with a degree or technical certification OR2-5 years of experience in an industrial environment

Role Specific Skill Requirements:

Electrical/Mechanical Aptitude- must be capable of modification or repair of equipment without supportAdept with testing instruments and hand toolsOverall experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical componentsUnderstanding of blueprints, pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematicsExperience with Motoman or Fanuc RobotsExperience with Omron PLCsAbility to troubleshoot and help determine root causeAbility to work 2nd and 3rd shift and be flexible to change work hours as needed.

Additional Skillsets to be successful in this role:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft productsAbility to communicate clearly in written as well as verbal formatsAbility to Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA) follow up itemsAbility to adhere to/comply with all safety policies and regulationsPossess a strong sense of self-drive and direction
