Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician in Tampa, FL, to maintain and repair production and facility equipment. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PMs, and strict safety practices.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders in CMMS while adhering to GMP and safety standards. Training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems including motors and VFDs.
• Experience with piping systems, valves, pumps, and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs and manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain needed certifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Respond to equipment failures and minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities per procedures.
• Process, complete, and document work orders using CMMS.
• Maintain GMP, SOPs, site policies, and training programs.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Operate in aseptic manufacturing environment with training provided.
• Maintain respiratory protection qualification as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
