Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Braselton, GA is seeking a Full-Time Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, and related equipment.

You will read work orders, use EAM software, and collaborate with technicians and management. A high school diploma or GED, plus relevant certificates or an associate degree preferred. This role requires on-site work and safety-conscious operation of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area and an associate degree in a related area preferred.
Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/Controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills required.
Related military experience will be considered.
In lieu of experience, an associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance/electrical/mechanical trade or related certificates or other degrees may be considered equivalent.
Multiple certificates and degrees may be assessed by manager and HR to determine relevancy to minimum qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

Follow work orders or instructions from high-level technicians/management.
Enter and retrieve prescribed data in the EAM system.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical or electrical problems.
Diagnose mechanical power transmission and electrical issues at component level.
Communicate technical data within the department and with vendors.
Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks.
Utilize MS Office and other web-based applications.
Manage time effectively and stay organized.
