Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair facilities' electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems. Morning shift with pay rate $29.90 to $32.90 per hour.

This role supports cooling towers, HVAC, chillers, and other plant infrastructure to ensure continuous operations. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing machine breakdowns, replacing faulty parts and components, and assisting in steam and distillation processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related engineering technology field is preferred.
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 2-4 years industrial maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment preventive maintenance activities in support of facilities equipment (cooling towers, air compressors, HVAC, industrial chillers, water treatment, docks, doors, lighting, plumbing, etc.)
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
• Disassemble and reassemble machines assemblies and sub-assemblies to perform repairs
• Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts
• Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices.
• Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components such drives and PLCs
• Back fill for steam plant operations, distillation operations and Die Shop to insure continuous operations
• Other duties as assigned

Education

Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology
