Job summary
Cintas Corporation in North Canton, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician II (2nd Shift) to help operate and keep an industrial laundry facility running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, perform preventive maintenance and respond to alarms to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining washers, dryers, steam tunnels and conveyors; welding as needed, performing boiler chemical tests and adjustments, and mentoring Maintenance Technician I
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
- Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
- Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
- High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and inspections.
- Respond to emergency alarms and safety concerns.
- Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintain inventory.
- Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners and assist with documentation.
