Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support an industrial laundry facility in Baton Rouge. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.

The role also covers preventive maintenance, welding, boiler chemistry testing and safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of direct experience, the ability to read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and the stamina

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment at the facility.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and welding tasks.
• Conduct boiler chemical testing and adjust chemistry as needed.
• Respond to emergency alarms and mentor Maintenance Technician I partners.
