JOB DETAILS

Base Starting Wage: $21.50 - $25.50

Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday - Monday

A maintenance technician, or maintenance mechanic, is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and reporting major breakdowns and repairs on machinery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable environment
  • Related degree from college, technical college, or military experience
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools; ability to disassemble machines, equipment, or devices to replace defective parts
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency with measuring instruments
