Job summary

Avnet seeks a maintenance technician to perform diversified duties including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment and systems. The role focuses on electrical control and mechanical repair for conveyors, forklifts, and related automated warehouse equipment, plus general upkeep across the facility.

The candidate will also assist with plumbing, painting, carpentry, and HVAC documentation, ensuring safety and upkeep across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Power Industrial (PIT) certification preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair to facility equipment and buildings.
• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical control and mechanical systems on conveyors, forklifts, and related equipment.
• May perform plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks throughout the facility.
• Maintains HVAC documentation and maintenance schedules; supports process improvement.
