ECHO Incorporatedis hiring an Industrial Maintenance I. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is required to have a strong work ethic, very positive attitude, willingness to learn and teach where applicable, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), physical ability to perform all maintenance related tasks, take ownership of personal work performance, and be self-motivated to provide acceptable results on a daily basis.
Must be able to take on any facility/manufacturing related maintenance task from start to finish, with minimal guidance, assistance, or supervision. Must be able to multi-task, take pride in your work, and provide exceptional results as far as quality, timing, teamwork, and safety are concerned. Continuous improvement needs to always be a top priority, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment as well.

1stShift 6:30am - 3:00pm $22.50 - $29.00+/HR depending on experience + yearly bonus!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform both scheduled and emergency repairs on injection molding equipment and auxiliary/ancillary systems across ECHO, ensuring urgency, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.
  • Complete routine preventive maintenance tasks assigned by the Supervisor and accurately document all work in the designated Maintenance/Repair Software.
  • Take ownership of maintenance-related projects with a proactive mindset. Effectively manage and prioritize tasks, balancing long-term projects with quick fixes and emergency repairs.
  • Work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends, to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Support inventory control efforts by organizing and maintaining spare parts, supplies, and hardware. Notify the Supervisor of any inventory needs and ensure storage areas meet 5-S standards.
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance duties within the Maintenance department.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with injection molding machines in a high-paced, industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to work with low voltage panels and electrical circuitry; must be able to troubleshoot, identify faulty components, and perform necessary replacements to restore operations.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment systems and components.
  • Experience working with compressed air and pneumatic systems.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and aerial lifts.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and team-lifting items up to 150 lbs. as needed.
