Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician I in Lafayette, LA to assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment in an automated laundry facility. The role covers washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers, and preventive maintenance, with strong emphasis on safety and record-keeping.

The position requires 2+ years of industrial repair experience, ability to read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and the stamina to stand up to 7

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Assist with preventive/predictive maintenance and safety concerns.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping and monitor inventory.
• Maintain maintenance records.
