Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to join the maintenance team. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment and automated systems, including 3-phase electrical systems, VFDs, and motor controls.

The position will primarily operate on a hybrid/swing shift schedule to support critical production hours, bridging day and evening operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and maintain 3-phase electrical systems, motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and equipment.
• Support equipment startups, changeovers, and operational improvements.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
