Job summary

PPG in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep processing lines running safely and efficiently on the evening shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM).

You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems on reactors, mills, mixers, HVAC units, and general facility equipment; perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders with precision; follow SOPs and uphold a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Clean-shaven to properly wear PPE.
• Comfortable in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability of critical process and facility assets.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems on reactors, mills, mixing equipment, HVAC units, and general facility equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance and complete work orders with precision.
• Follow site SOPs and uphold a safety-first mindset.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement lasting corrective actions.
