Job summary

Case Paper Co Inc in Chicago, IL is seeking a Maintenance professional to service and maintain production equipment, including motors, conveyors, and transmission systems. You will inspect machine functionality, troubleshoot breakdowns, and adjust components with hand and machine tools.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years in industrial maintenance, experience with electrical and automation systems, and ability to read diagrams and CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience.
• Experience in electrical, automation controls, pneumatic/hydraulic, plumbing, compressed air, mechanics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic troubleshooting of web tension systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Basic PLCs understanding.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Read maps, charts, diagrams, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication with contractors and teammates.
• Basic Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering).

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventive maintenance for the production facility and repairs as needed.
• Maintain electrical, automation controls, pneumatic/hydraulic, plumbing, compressed air, and mechanical systems.
• Participate in safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production crews to optimize machine efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop knowledge of Case Paper IL equipment and machinery to support MRO.
• Maintain parts inventories to minimize downtime while balancing cost.
• Maintain grounds and respond to work orders and ad-hoc requests.
• Make proactive recommendations on updates and repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
