Job summary

Spectrum Staffing Services in New Jersey is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and facility systems to keep production running.

Qualifications

• Trade school or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
• Complete scheduled PMs and document maintenance activities in a maintenance management system.
• Support welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and machine shop projects as needed.
• Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, heating systems, pumps, forklifts, and other facility equipment.
• Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate maintenance tools, hand tools, welders, grinders, lifts, and other shop equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with equipment installations, facility improvements, and other maintenance projects as assigned.
