Job summary

Talento Search Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Alabaster, Alabama area. This direct-hire role offers a pay rate of $27-33 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, installing and maintaining equipment, and performing preventive maintenance in an industrial setting. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical skill-sets including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience with manual lathes, manual mills, and CNC equipment is helpful.
• Experience with basic wire welding is desirable.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems
• Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools and production machines
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery
• Clean and adjust air tools and power tools
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Fabricate parts
• Perform some plumbing repairs
