Job summary

Steves & Sons in San Antonio, TX is seeking a versatile industrial maintenance professional to support our door manufacturing plant. You will perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic maintenance to repair and optimize machinery and systems.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will read prints, use eMaint CMMS to order parts, and work with mills, lathes and welders. The role requires 3-5 years in an industrial setting, flexibility for shifts, and a commitment

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working in an industrial environment.
• Troubleshooting
• Preventive Maintenance
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Pneumatic Power/ Compressed Air Systems
• Electrical Systems/ Motor Controls- Low and High Voltages
• Controls and Automation/ Allen Bradley/ Automation Direct
• Electronics- Low Voltage AC/DC Components/ Encoders/ TTL
• Computer Numeric Controllers- Thermwood/ Standard
• Various Hand Tools- Mechanical/ Electrical

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain and repair motors and pumps.
• Troubleshooting and upgrading of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints.
• Run energy sources such as air, hydraulic and electrical as necessary.
• Perform PM procedures on production and facility equipment and implementation.
• Operate mills, lathes, welders and other equipment to perform repairs.
• Utilize eMaint software program to order parts and equipment for repairs and equipment PM's.
• Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
• Must be flexible and able to work any shift sometimes at short notice.
