Maine Staffing Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a growing seafood operation in Maine. The role starts around October 12, 2026, with pay ranging from $19 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.

You will work hands-on, repairing pumps, conveyors, cookers, and other production equipment, and help improve equipment and processes throughout the facility. We’re looking for a motivated, self-starting individual who enjoys solving mechanical puzzles, working with their hands, and

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, marine, agricultural, or processing equipment is a plus.
• A self-starter who can take direction and work independently.
• Someone who enjoys problem-solving and figuring things out.
• Dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn new equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pumps, conveyors, belts, cookers, and other production equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues and breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform general facility maintenance and repair projects.
• Identify potential problems before they impact production.
• Work on a variety of mechanical systems and equipment throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with management and team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Help support a safe, productive work environment.
