Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Franklin, Virginia is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment on the production floor. You will analyze test results, disassemble and repair machinery, and ensure safe, efficient operation while adhering to SOPs.

A high school diploma is preferred with 1–2 years of maintenance experience. Ammonia refrigeration and boiler experience, plus SAP/ERP familiarity, are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP or maintenance ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems by analyzing test results, machine error messages, and operator input.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Operate and test repaired machinery to verify repairs.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and document work orders in SAP or MIS/ERP system.
• Comply with SOPs and safety regulations.
