Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on complex machinery. You will troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, while maintaining detailed work orders and collaborating with engineers to resolve issues.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with basic MS Office skills for documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, on varied terrain.
• Stoop, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems using standard tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and calibrate equipment; log test readings.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors to resolve malfunctions and implement procedures.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare work orders.
