Job summary

Lignetics is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment and facility systems in our Youngsville, LA plant.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in manufacturing, with strong problem-solving and safety focus, able to work independently or with a team.

Shift: Monday–Friday 6am-2pm with on-call as needed; salary is paid hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1–5 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Repair and maintain industrial production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems as needed.
• Assist with planning for scheduled maintenance outages.
• Conduct minor facility repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.).
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate repair needs and maintenance activities to team members.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
