Job summary

Siemens in Hingham, MA is seeking an Industrial Machinery Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and parts ordering. You may supervise outside services under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.

The role focuses on PMs, troubleshooting, high- and low-voltage systems, CNC machinery, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment while maintaining safety and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on special projects during off shifts.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• Trade training in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Familiar with PMs and CMMS systems.
• Able to operate hand tools and ladders; complete documentation.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of production equipment operation, repair, and maintenance; perform new installations and PMs.
• Troubleshoot and respond to normal operations problems and emergencies.
• Work with high- and low-voltage systems, Transformers and related components.
• Inspect equipment, implement corrective actions, and monitor CNC, punching/bending machines, crane, motors, and hydraulics.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and follow EHS policies; manage inventory and tools.
