Job summary

Altium Packaging in Chino, CA is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility systems. You will follow Good Manufacturing Practices and work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, basic math and computer skills, and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficient in basic computer skills for ERP and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics with troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition and ensure safety standards.

Location Address:14312 Central Avenue, Chino, California 91710Work Shift:8hr-1st Shift 6a-2:30p Chino (United States of America) As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, incumbent will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Industrial Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.-Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipment.-Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.-Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.-Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps-Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.-Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.-Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.-Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.-May operate blow mold or injection machines-Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.-Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.-Receives instructions on specific job task by Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.-Other duties as assigned by management.-Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
