Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility systems. You will install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, and palletizers while ensuring safety standards.

Tasks include inspecting hoses, valves, and pumps, performing PMs, welding, fabricating, and troubleshooting root causes. Overtime may be required.

• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves and pumps; perform PMs.
• Weld, fabricate and repair machines; troubleshoot root problems.

Location Address:1070 Samuelson Street, City of Industry, California 91748Work Shift:8hr-3rd Shift (United States of America) As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, incumbent will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Industrial Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipment.Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumpsPerform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.May operate blow mold or injection machinesCommunicate with other departments on a frequent basis.Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.Receives instructions on specific job task by Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.Other duties as assigned by management.Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
