Job summary
Deco Products Company in Decorah, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our die cast and facility equipment running safely and efficiently. This full-time role covers all shifts and involves troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across a range of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
You will work on production equipment, conveyors, and facility systems, with opportunities to advance into higher-level maintenance and leadership roles within a growing manufacturing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- PLC experience preferred.
- AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
- Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
