The 1st & 2nd Shift Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of building & mechanical equipment used for processing in an industrial laundry setting. Candidates should possess building / mechanical maintenance & repair knowledge, and a thorough professional mindset with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve. Candidates should be detail-oriented w / ability to work autonomously and comply with all health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities :

• Servicing / maintaining equipment (including motors, conveyor system, HVAC system, compressors, & production machinery)
• Performing general building electrical & plumbing maintenance
• Completing Machinery & Building Maintenance Logs
• Communicating detailed progress on projects in progress
• Inspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, & repairing production machinery
• Surveying buildings to ensure they are consistent with health / safety standards
• Installation or adjustments of mechanical parts using hand & machine tools
• Conducting general upkeep procedures & other tasks as assigned

Maintenance Technician Qualifications :

Must have High School Diploma or GED

Must have 2+ years' maintenance technician experience & provide own tools

Ability to work 1st Shift (3a-11 : 30a

flex) OR 2nd Shift (10a-8p) onsite daily in the Indianapolis, IN facility

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & industrial control systems

Working knowledge of hand & stationary tools

Good communication, time management & problem-solving skills

Ability to lift & manipulate heavy equipment

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards & regulations

Secondary education / degree or certification in mechanical maintenance technology or relevant field a plus!

Boiler technical skills a plus!

Must be able & willing to pass a background check & drug screen (hair)
