Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join its North American team. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring a strong safety culture across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

The candidate should have a proven track record in similar environments, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of MSDS.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Repair or replace broken components of machinery and equipment.
Install, wire and commission electrical panels and field devices.
Troubleshoot electrical systems including power distribution and motor controls.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
