Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL is seeking a full-time Warehouse Building Maintenance technician for three facilities. The role ensures maintenance of building systems, warehouse equipment, and safety compliance. A valid driver's license is required for travel between sites, and overtime may be required.

Base pay is provided with a comprehensive benefits package. The position operates on first shift, Monday–Friday, with a focus on preventative maintenance and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mechanical diagnostic abilities and reading blueprints.
• Must maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, comprehensive, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Inspect warehouse handling equipment and racking systems.
• Maintain forklift fleet.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.
• Perform millwright duties and enhanced rigging.
• Respond promptly to service requests from colleagues.
• Read spec sheets and blueprints.
• Ensure accuracy of maintenance records.
• Assist with snow removal as needed; flexible schedule during weather events.
• Lift heavy items (50 lbs), bend, kneel, stand, climb, work at heights.
• Work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Report injuries, illnesses, near misses, and damage timely.
• Assist with maintaining organized layout and safe work environment.
