Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Alma, KS is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for all 3 shifts. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment with a strong focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

This role requires significant mandatory overtime, typically 55+ hours weekly, often including weekends. Prior meat processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Training and safety procedures are provided.

Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience maintaining industrial production or processing equipment.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be comfortable working mandatory overtime and weekends.
• Ability to prioritize emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance software.
• Ability to work in cold and hot manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical equipment repairs.
• Install, operate, and maintain plant processing machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements.
• Assist with equipment modifications and installations.
• Document maintenance activities using an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
• Support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Train and assist less-experienced maintenance technicians.
• Follow all plant safety and maintenance procedures.
