City Laundering Company in Oelwein, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment in an industrial laundry environment. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing machinery, and ensuring continuous plant operation.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, repairing electrical systems, and assisting outside vendors.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with high voltage, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair machinery and equipment in an industrial laundry facility.
• Repair defective machines, replace parts, and lubricate components.
• Operate equipment safely and perform preventive maintenance to prolong life of assets.
• Assist contractors and complete assigned work orders.
