Industrial Maintenance Technician *3 Openings*

Clariant is currently looking for 3 Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our collaborative and skilled team at the PPCAT Plant in Louisville, KY. This role requires specialized knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure the efficiency, safety, and minimal downtime of heavy production equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly. Clariant offers competitive pay, PTO, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus after four months. You'll also work alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to knowledge-sharing and professional development. This position follows a rotating schedule from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am or 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Monday - Friday).

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with local legal regulations and Clariant safety and environmental policies
  2. Participate in risk analysis and implement action items to enhance plant safety
  3. Perform preventive maintenance to optimize equipment reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives
  4. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, ensuring all assets meet quality standards
  5. Support technical plant documentation and ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) processes
  6. Attend daily performance meetings and collaborate with production operators to drive efficiency
  7. Ensure all job-related qualifications and safety training are up to date
  8. Execute maintenance tasks efficiently, maintaining a balance between time, quality, and cost
  9. Complete SAMACO-related work orders, including Process Safety Management (PSM) and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) tasks

Requirements

  1. 6+ years of hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
  2. Experience in the Chemical or Food Manufacturing industry is preferred
  3. Ability to work any shift, including rotating schedules and weekends as needed
  4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a high-demand environment
  6. Previous experience in an industrial setting where skilled maintenance work is at a premium
