Job summary

Golden Aluminum in Fort Lupton, CO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day and long-term maintenance on our foundry and mill equipment in an industrial setting. The role requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and rebuilding of production machinery, plus operation of forklifts and lifting equipment as needed.

You will read mechanical drawings, diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and use precision tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Blueprints.
• Must possess a basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Assemblies (bearings, couplings, gears & gear trains).
• Knowledge in troubleshooting and rebuilding various types of pumps, e.g. centrifugal, diaphragm, and piston pumps.
• Must have the ability to use precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Must have initiative, multitasking skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to-day and long-term maintenance of our complex foundry and mill equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and rebuilding, on industrial production machinery and supporting equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment, such as forklift, skid steer loader, shop crane, scissor lift, and articulating man lift, as required to perform maintenance duties.
• Interpret safety and work instructions, both verbal and written, to understand required specifications.
