We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our second shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM).

This role involves maintaining production equipment and plant facilities, ensuring safety and adherence to company procedures. The technician should troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs on machinery, with a thorough understanding of processes and support equipment.

What You Will Do
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment using mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
  • Understand equipment functions and operational procedures thoroughly.
  • Perform general facility maintenance and modifications.
  • Assist with installation, assembly, and setup of machinery.
  • Repair facility equipment, including electrical/electronic and material handling equipment.
  • Initiate preventative maintenance and establish repair schedules.
  • Maintain knowledge of manufacturing support equipment.
  • Reading electrical schematics is a plus, but not required.
  • Welding skills are a plus or willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and willingness to acquire new skills.
Work Environment

The role involves exposure to varying temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, sharp tools, moving parts, and loud noise. The employee must frequently talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb. Lifting over 75 pounds occasionally is required. Vision abilities needed include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Minimum Requirements

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and:

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent education and experience.
  • Steady work history.
  • Mechanical inclination with a safety-conscious attitude.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and age 18 or older.
  • Ability to perform physical job requirements with or without accommodations.
  • Industrial electrical skills are a plus.
