Job description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for successful on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions, updating them as needed with input from Engineering teams. Additionally, you will improve training guides and documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to address administrative challenges related to equipment delivery and installation. You will also train customers on proper equipment usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures. Representing Honeywell, you may also participate in industry conferences and deliver technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
2. Inspect equipment and installations for quality
3. Complete work orders for installation or repair
4. Provide support and training to customers

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in field installations, mechanical or industrial
• Availability to work the 2nd shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience working with PLCs, conveyor systems, high voltage electrical systems
• Previous technical or installation experience
• Customer service experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and identify mistakes
