Job description

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Shift & Compensation

Shift: 2nd & 3rd

Pay Rate: $25.00 plus shift premium after completing probation

Job Duties
  1. Utilize equipment to produce quality products efficiently.
  2. Perform tasks on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  3. Troubleshoot weld controller issues from the substation to welding tips.
  4. Verify weld quality with Quality Assurance and make adjustments as needed.
  5. Work with interlocking systems for automated and semi-automated equipment.
  6. Troubleshoot PLC problems using industrial terminals and PCs.
  7. Use diagnostic printouts for repair functions.
  8. Repair sensors, modules, and wiring as required.
  9. Modify PLC programs by adding or deleting sensors, solenoids, lights, etc., based on provided information.
  10. Install piping systems for hydraulic and pneumatic needs.
  11. Fabricate parts from blueprints and verbal or written instructions.
  12. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and compasses.
  13. Work with industrial control systems.
  14. Perform basic mechanical functions on automated equipment.
  15. Maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment.
  16. Operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
  17. Use maintenance shop tools, power tools, hand tools, volt-ohm meters, digital multimeters, weld scopes, and oscilloscopes.
  18. Construct cables following recognized standards (RS-232, RS-422, etc.).
  19. Handle hazardous waste properly.
  20. Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
  21. Maintain a team-oriented environment focused on quality goals.
  22. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
  23. Keep the work area clean.
