Job summary

Electrical Automation Services Inc in Rock City, Illinois is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a full-time, non-exempt role at our food ingredient facility. Position supports 2nd or 3rd shift (2nd: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; 3rd: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with starting pay around $35 per hour based on experience.

The technician will troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, piping, and process equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least two years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment and facility systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems
Maintain and repair pumps, motors, valves, piping, and process equipment
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance
Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and blueprints
Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in the CMMS
Participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures
Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition
Follow OSHA, food safety, sanitation, and plant safety procedures
Work closely with Production, Quality, and other maintenance team members
